Here’s what’s filling my days as of June 2026. This is a now page — a snapshot, not a résumé. It goes stale on purpose, and I update it when the shape of life changes.
Working on
Deep in behavioral fingerprinting research — specifically how far you can get identifying coordinated abuse from timing and handshake signals alone, before you ever look at payload. It’s the kind of problem that’s equal parts statistics and intuition, and I love it.
On the side, I keep nudging ReadLog forward. Slow and steady; it’s a tool for me first.
Reading
More fiction than I’ve read in years, which feels like coming home. Currently somewhere in the middle of a long literary novel I’m refusing to rush. Non-fiction queue is all systems and security papers, as usual.
Learning
Teaching myself to develop film at home. The chemistry is unforgiving and the results are humbling, but pulling a real image out of a tank feels like magic in a way nothing on a screen does.
Thinking about
How much of “intelligence” in detection systems is really just patience — the willingness to watch long enough to know what normal looks like. I keep coming back to that.
